Ditch Fear and Embrace Freedom
Growing up in, or being a part of religious spaces for any length of time, can often lead to confusing feelings when we start to question things. Sometimes, those spaces require you to learn how to fit into specific molds of who others tell you that you should be. When you start to question the ideas that you were taught, it can leave you feeling unravelled and confused as to who you really are and what you really believe. Maybe you also struggle with feeling flustered or anxious when someone talks about church or you hear sermons or worship songs and feel a bit panicky. Perhaps you grew up in the “purity culture" era and are struggling with feeling comfortable in your own body and with intimate partners. For those of us who identify within the LGBTQIA+ community, the feelings of confusion, isolation, and shame can be especially overwhelming. Maybe thoughts of being fundamentally bad are so overwhelming it has you feeling like you’re in a dark pit with no way of escaping.
Imagine breaking free from those struggles and living an authentic life free of shame and guilt, full of connection and self-love. Change is possible, and I can help you get there. My therapeutic methods meet you where you are, and I offer my clients a safe, caring, and empathetic space to process what they’re going through.
Having done my own spiritual deconstruction, I know the disorientation that can accompany it. I want to empower you to find acceptance, strength, and wholeness no matter where you land spiritually. I offer free 15-minute consultations, so call or email me today and let’s chat about what you’re looking for.
